In its first year of operation, the Fiserv Forum hosted major concerts, community events and one of the NBA’s most exciting teams — our own Milwaukee Bucks. Stand on the shores of Lake Michigan on a summer afternoon, and you’ll see our stunning art museum, a horizon filled with boats out enjoying a cruise, runners and bicyclists hitting the trails, the remarkable newNorthwestern Mutual tower and the grounds that host the world’s largest music festival: Summerfest. While we embrace the energy that comes along with all these new developments, metro Milwaukee is not a place that forgets its roots. Here you’ll find celebrations of beer, brats and cheese alongside James Beard- nominated chefs and world-class arts and cultural amenities. And you can’t really get to know the Milwaukee Region without visiting its unique neighborhoods and suburbs. I’ve saved the best for last.
