Hoobastank and Eve 6: Waukesha County Fair

Friday night at the Fair just got loud! Hoobastank and Eve 6 will headline the Miller Lite Main Stage on Friday, July 17th at 8 PM. Bringing a wave of late-90s and early-2000s nostalgia to the Main Stage, these two alternative-rock defining artists are bringing the volume for both old and new fans.

Hoobastank cemented their place in pop culture with their global hit “The Reason,” which recently surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify—now sitting at more than 1.35 billion—and joined the platform’s exclusive Billions Club alongside legendary artists like AC/DC, The Beatles, Whitney Houston, and Elton John. The track comes from the band’s 2003 sophomore album The Reason, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023 and propelled Hoobastank to international success. The album built on the momentum of their 2001 self-titled debut, which produced the platinum-certified singles “Crawling in the Dark,” “Running Away,” and “Remember Me.”

Two decades later, “The Reason” continues to resonate with longtime fans while finding a new generation through viral and on-screen moments. The song experienced a resurgence through the viral #NotAPerfectPerson trend on TikTok and prominent placements in hit shows including Beef, The Boys, and We Are Lady Parts. Its official music video has also surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube, reinforcing the band’s lasting cultural impact. With renewed mainstream attention and over 12 million monthly listeners, Hoobastank continues to connect with audiences around the world more than 20 years after their breakthrough.

American punk-pop trio Eve 6 rose to prominence in the late ’90s with their platinum self-titled debut and gold-selling follow-up Horrorscope. They scored three Top 40 hits, including the No. 1 modern rock single “Inside Out” in 1998, along with fan favorites like “Leech,” “Promise,” and “Here’s to the Night.”
