38 Special: Waukesha County Fair
38 SPECIAL headlines a rocking Saturday at the Fair
Saturday night is about to get a massive dose of Southern-flavored rock! With over 20 million albums sold and a catalog of more than 15 albums stacked high with hits including “Hold On Loosely,” “Caught Up In You,” and “Second Chance,” 38 Special is celebrating a half-century of rock & roll dominance.
As 38 Special enters its sixth decade together, the music continues with Milestone. It’s the band’s first studio album in more than 20 years, and it showcases a group of road warriors with plenty of miles left in the tank. Fueled up on snarling guitars, anthemic melodies, and the desire to break new ground, these platinum-selling artists update their sound for the 2020s, bridging the gap between past and present without forgetting their rock & roll roots.
“We don’t slack up, we stack up,” says frontman and co-founder Don Barnes. “When you’re reintroducing yourself to the world after 50 years, ‘good enough’ doesn’t work. You have to go big. We’re bringing a high-energy party to the people, and we don’t phone it in.”
The current lineup, Don Barnes, Jerry Riggs, Gary Moffatt, Bobby Capps, and Barry Dunaway, continues to hit 100 cities a year, and “Don’t wanna ever slow down”! The 2026 Waukesha County Fair’s Miller Lite Main Stage is fired up and ready to go “Rockin’ Into the Night” with YOU! — You won’t want to miss this!
