The Mary Wallopers – brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy – started as a three-piece Irish ballad group traveling the length and breadth of the country singing & collecting songs. Their early live performances exuded a raw energy best described as Dead Kennedys meets The Clancy Brothers.

The Wallopers expanded to a six-piece, now including Roisin Barrett on bass, Ken Mooney on drums , Finian O’ Connor on tin whistle/pipes and Catriona Gribben on accordion. The band’s latest self released album, Paddywhackery, is now available, with latest single Crowns of England showing there’s no let up.
