JOE 2.0

Oconomowoc Arts Center

JOE 2.0 has been thrilling audiences for over 10 years with their unique and powerful combination of rich, lush, orchestral strings infused into the pop and rock music that has stood the test of time.  Founded in Milwaukee by violinist and composer, Joseph Ketchum, the band is an electrified string quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) plus drums and the legendary vocals of original “Cheap Trick” lead singer, Xeno.  They have performed numerous times to raving crowds at theaters and festivals including Summerfest, The Wisconsin State Fair, The Bend Theater, and many more.

They perform all original arrangements of timeless music from artists like: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led-Zeppelin, David-Bowie, and many more.  Through the use of painstakingly crafted electronic effects, they recreate the sounds of bass, electric guitar, keyboards, horns and more and blend in the natural sound of the strings for an incredibly gigantic, original, yet accessible sound.

For this special afternoon, they will be joined by vocalists Tom Wegner (Big Spoon) and Lynda Lee (Fire and Ice).  The repertoire will feature a true musical journey through the ages, featuring everything from a tribute to Sgt Pepper, to a candlelit acoustic segment, to Hollywood film music, to good old rock n roll.

Don’t miss amazing and wonderful afternoon of music from Milwaukee’s own original Rockestra, JOE 2.0.
